Fall Swimming Season Misc Info

Hope everyone is doing well! Here's some miscellany info:

-Sign-up night Wed., August 29, 4-6pm in the Cafe at TPC. I will be available for questions (about anything) and will do a walk-though of online meet entry and show you some neat online resources.

-Fall session begins Sept.10, forms are available at TPC Front desk (online soon). If you aren't sure what group is best for your swimmer, shoot me an email, and I'll tell you my thoughts.

-4-day clinic @ TPC from Sept. 4-7 complete with video review and possibly some special guests. More info unveiled soon.

--while the full Fall Calendar is still not set in stone, we will be attending these two meets which are already open for online sign-up:

9/22,23 Santa Rosa C/B/A+--early season wake-up call!

10/13,14 Napa C/B/A+--this one fills up, sign-up if you are interested ASAP

-If you ordered a team suit and it was too small, contact Reed at NorCal Swim Shop ASAP, he's doing a replacement

-Our team, Northbay Aquatics, won the Western Zone Senior Championship meet in Clovis against very fast competition a couple weeks ago and is currently finishing up swimming in Indianapolis at the Junior National Championships. The 4X100 Free relay got 5th! That's a big deal! Interesting side-note: NBA swimmer Brad cline won the 400m free with nearly the same time Head Coach Ken Demont's brother Rick won the gold at the 1972 Olympics!

For results for both of those fast meets, check here (remember, it's long course):

-the Olympics are STILL on! Check on-demand if you have Comcast to review your favorite swimming moments--I really like the Women's 50 Free Final where Ranomi Kromowidjojo wins the gold with her nearly flawless freestyle (there's a great underwater view of the whole race).

--I still have unclaimed team photos and t-shirts from RESL's! Come and get 'em.

As always, email me with any questions! I'll be away from my computer for some of next week, but will set aside some time to reply to my email.
